We’ve all experienced the power of coaching.  But, what if you could take your clients to the next level even faster than you or they ever thought possible.

Insightful coaches worldwide have been using DISC for years to help their clients more quickly understand their motivations, face their fears, reveal their blind spots and build upon their strengths.

What is DISC?

In many ways, the concepts behind DISC can be traced back to the teachings of Hippocrates and his descriptions of the general characteristics of the human race.

Based on the theories of Dr. William Moulton Marston, DISC is a behavioral model that identifies key characteristics and personality types.  DISC is based on the theory that, while all people are different, in some key ways they are predictably different.

Understanding these characteristics will help you uncover a person’s goals, fears, and motivations much faster than simply asking powerful questions.

The theories behind DISC are drawn from the work presented in Dr. Marston’s 1928 book, “The Emotions of Normal People,” and are reflected in the actual DISC assessment, which was first created in the 1970’s at the University of Minnesota.

What is the DISC Coaching Catalyst™?

A Manual

The DISC Coaching Catalyst™ is a manual that describes the theories behind the DISC model and explores the characteristics of the 4 DISC styles and how they apply to your clients and the issues they face.

It enables you to deepen your understanding of DISC more quickly by applying the concepts directly to your coaching practice and your specific clients.

A Coaching Model

The DISC Coaching Catalyst™ provides a simple, yet powerful, framework for moving your clients forward, by melding together the key concepts from both DISC and a tool called the Johari Window.  This framework will help you bring your clients’ attention to their blind spots more quickly and move them forward in ways you never before thought possible.

The #1 Guide to Understanding DISC and Your Clients

The DISC Coaching Catalyst™ offers tips and techniques to more effectively coach individuals in work, life and relationships, based on their DISC style.  In addition, it is designed to help you craft the most effective questions to dig deeper with specific clients based on their style.

As you work your way through this guide, you will frequently be asked to consider how you can use this material to help your clients see themselves in a new light and understand themselves better.

What will you learn from the DISC Coaching Catalyst™?

  • The theory and history behind today’s DISC assessments
  • The synergy between a tool called the Johari Window and DISC
  • The key characteristics of the 4 DISC styles
  • How individuals of each DISC style typically relate to one another
  • The concept of style combinations and what that can mean to your coaching approach
  • Tips and techniques to coach individuals more effectively in work, life, and relationships, based on their DISC style

After completing the DISC Coaching Catalyst™, you will be qualified to assess the DISC style of your individual clients.  You will also have all of the tools you need to use DISC as a coaching tool and to allow you to help your clients in ways that never before seemed possible.

You will not only understand your clients’ natural tendencies, but you will also understand how they view themselves and how you can help them change that perspective.
